The anti-corrosion coating of 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes consists of three layers.
The anti-corrosion coating of 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes consists of three layers. The first layer is epoxy powder (FBE), which directly bonds to the surface of the steel pipe. With its inherent chemical inertness, it provides a chemical barrier for the steel pipe, effectively blocking the erosion of corrosive media. The second layer is an adhesive (AD), whose function is to tightly connect the epoxy layer with the outermost polyethylene (PE) layer, enhancing the stability of the entire structure and preventing delamination between the layers. The third layer of polyethylene (PE) is mainly responsible for resisting external physical impacts and has good UV resistance, adapting to ambient temperatures ranging from -40°C to 120°C. This three-layer composite structure collaborates to form an effective anti-corrosion system. Through rigorous control of various testing standards such as hydrostatic testing and chemical property testing, the service life of 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes can be ensured to be over 50 years, making them widely used in various pipeline projects that require long-term stable operation.
